An interdisciplinary approach:
school bullying survey

Because Mill River Union Middle School's seventh-grade "read" of The Revealers was school-wide, it invited creative, interdisciplinary approaches by teachers outside of language arts. One math teacher took up the challenge by designing and delivering, with a group of her students, a schoolwide survey on bullying that related closely to a similar, fictional survey described in the novel. The group then published the survey's results as a stimulus for discussion by all students in the reading project.
