Every couple of weeks during the school year (somewhat less often in the summertime), I send out a brief update by email to the teachers, school librarians, principals, and other people I know who are interested in realistic young-adult fiction. I let each recipient know about new posts at my blog, Reading Matters; about new book projects and developments around my YA novels; about my school visits, and more. It's a great way to keep in touch.
