On Good Reads, a mom's candid take on TRUE SHOES
| Notes from Doug |
Goodreads.com is a terrific site, devoted to brief and thoughtful book reviews by real readers — just the sort of feedback that people want these days. Today I was happy to come across a candid Goodreads assessment of True Shoes, by a mother whose middle schooler was assigned to read it for school.
"If you read "The Revealers" and wondered what happened next," the reviewer writes, "this is the book that answers that question. It's the same characters, about a year later."
I appreciated her assessment, which is very honest. To read it, just click here.
