Notes from Doug

On March 22 I had a terrific day at Freetown-Lakeville Middle School, in Lakeville, Mass., where I talked to every student in grades 6-8, plus a number of fifth graders from Austin Intermediate School next door. A couple of days later, I got an email from FLMS student Robert Sadeck.

Robert asked a question that he hadn’t been able to ask in the school auditorium (I couldn’t call on everyone, though I tried). And, he added, “i also didn't know if you liked poetry because the only writing i like is poems and i made one for you.”

Here is Robert’s poem, posted with his permission:

Thank you, Robert!
